Full transparency
How pricing works
You should know exactly where every dollar goes. No fine print, no surprises at checkout.
For sellers
You set your price. That's your payout.
We never take a cut of your sale. When you list a card at $50, $50 is what lands in your bank after the sale completes. The buyer pays a small fee on top, and we show it to them baked into the price.
Seller plans bill monthly, and every plan is free right now. No commission, no surprise deductions. Your listing price is your payout.
For buyers
The CurX fee is already in the price you see.
Our fee is 4% of the seller's price, with a 50 cent minimum. We bake it into the price on every listing, so a card the seller lists at $100 shows as $104. At checkout, the only things added are shipping (the real carrier cost) and any sales tax for your location. You see the full breakdown before you pay. The CurX fee is not refundable once a sale completes.
There is no hidden charge after confirmation. What the checkout screen shows is exactly what your card is charged.
Why is there a platform fee?
Every card sale on CurX runs through Stripe, the same payment processor used by Amazon and Shopify. Stripe charges us on every sale. We can't absorb that cost and still pay sellers their full price.
Rather than quietly deduct it from sellers the way eBay and most marketplaces do, we show it to the buyer, baked into the price. The fee also covers:
- ✓CurX Safe Pay: we hold your payment until your card arrives
- ✓Human dispute review: a real person handles every claim
- ✓Fraud protection and identity verification
- ✓Keeping the site running and supported
We'd rather tell you this upfront than bury it in a terms page.
CurX Safe Pay
When you buy a card, CurX holds your money. The seller does not get paid until you confirm the card arrived and matches the listing, or until 3 days pass after delivery with no problem reported. If something is wrong, you can open a dispute in that window and we step in.
Sellers: your payout releases on its own after the buyer confirms or the window closes. No chasing payments.
